AHIMA Acknowledges Cristina Iaboni For Her Service and Contributions

AHIMA would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Cristina Iaboni for her dedicated service and leadership during her time with us. As Interim Chief Executive Officer for the last eleven months, Cris has provided leadership, stability, and continuity during a transitional period for our organization.   

During Cris’ tenure, AHIMA’s financial position was strengthened through careful cost management, streamlined operations, and debt reduction, leading to stronger year-end results. Member programming was enhanced with the launch of the Virtual AI Summit, Conversations with AHIMA Fellows, and revitalized Member Town Hall meetings that reached thousands of participants quarterly. Technology improvements were prioritized, and an in-house customer service team was launched, dramatically reducing backlogs and improving responsiveness.  

Cris’ efforts have been instrumental in restoring our focus and progress, and we are grateful for her commitment and contributions. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors and appreciate the positive impact she has made on the AHIMA enterprise.
