CHICAGO – October 4, 2023 – The American Health Information Management Association® (AHIMA) will recognize recipients of the association’s 2023 Triumph Awards in Baltimore, MD, on October 9. AHIMA presents this honor to members who have demonstrated excellence in their dedication and service in healthcare and to the health information (HI) profession.

Claire Dixon-Lee, PhD, RHIA, CPH, FAHIMA, received the AHIMA Triumph Distinguished Member Award, the Association’s highest honor, for her outstanding achievements in the HI field and many years of voluntary leadership at AHIMA.
Pam Oachs, MA, RHIA, CHDA, FAHIMA, is a full-time faculty member and program director of the undergraduate Health Informatics and Information Management Program at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN.
Heather Hunn, RHIA, leads the Federal Aviation Administration’s Autopsy Program Team in Oklahoma City, OK.
Richard Pinson, MD, FACP, CCS, CDIP, and Cynthia Tang, RHIA, CCS, CRC, received the Influencer Award for their commitment and contributions to the HI profession.
Debi Primeau, MA, RHIA, FAHIMA, is the founder and CEO of Primeau Consulting Group, where she has led the consulting practice since 2011.
Jessica Johnson, RHIA, is a strategic leader, advisor, and owner of J2 Integrity Solutions LLC.
Megan (Munns) Pruente, RHIA, MPH, is the director of professional services at Harris Data Integrity Solutions (formerly Just Associates Inc.)
Katia V. López Martinez, MS-HIM, RN-BSN, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, completed a BS in nursing at the International University, Metropolitan Campus. She is pursuing a master’s in HI management at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus.
