Deborah Newsome, RHIT, MDIV is a Marketing Retention Specialist II at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. She has been employed with Horizon for 23 years. During this period, she has become a subject matter expert in several areas in the company from reimbursement pricing to membership trend analysis. She specializes in CPT and HCPCS pricing based on network contractual agreements with physician groups and ancillary facilities, as well as creating reports for membership trends. Deborah is also Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

Deborah has earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Rutgers The State University of New Jersey; Associates of Science from Burlington County College in Health Information Technology and a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University.
