Dr. Stephen Teitelbaum is the Vice President for Clinical Data Integrity at the Mount Sinai Health System. Dr. Teitelbaum is responsible for ensuring that the coded representation of each of the System’s in-patient encounters accurately reflects the true clinical picture of that encounter. In this role, he leads the departments of Health Information Management, Clinical Documentation Improvement, and DRG Validation.

Ms. Berberich’s HIM career spans 24 years and includes leadership roles in Acute Care Community Hospitals, an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital, and as Adjunct HIM Instructor.

Jennifer Dhooge is currently the Administrative Director of HIM, Coding and CDI for OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She has twenty years of HIM experience ranging from Consulting work to HIM Clerk and Coding roles. At her current organization, she works with many other hospital departments and physicians on the importance of complete medical record documentation and improving the hospital metrics surrounding mortality, HCCs, and risk adjustment.
