Sue Clarke-Kendrick, MHA, RHIA, FAHIMA, has over 24 years of experience in Health Information leadership, managing operations, coding, CDI, revenue, HIPAA, implementations in long term, acute care, and ambulatory care settings along with teaching, developing, and managing curricula. She is the VP of Network Revenue Integrity for a large Network in NY. She is also an ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer. In her current position, Sue is responsible for overseeing Network CDM maintenance, charge capture processes, system standardization and revenue cycle audit processes to promote efficiency and revenue optimization. She is the curriculum chair of the health information technology program at the local community college, where she designed three educational programs that are part of the college’s curriculum. She is a former director on the AHIMA Board of Directors, former president of the New York Health Information Management Association and the Tappan Zee Health Information Management Association. She also received the 2018 AHIMA Leadership Triumph Award, 2023 AHIMA Outstanding Leadership and Service, and 2023 NYHIMA HIM Industry Award.

I am a committed and driven Health Information Administrator and an educator with 20+ years of leadership experience within the field of Health Information. I strive for excellence, welcome change, and am a true transformational leader. I believe my professional and educational background, willingness to make a difference, support and dedication to AHIMA/NYHIMA/TZHIMA over the years, serving as a volunteer board member in various roles, are all true testaments of my commitment to our profession and organization. For the growth of our profession, my commitment to you is to align professional development with educational programs and uphold the highest standards of practices. For leadership, my commitment to you is to be bold, going after big ideas, be forward thinking through assessing industry changes and making the necessary changes.
