Thomas R. Mehs serves as the Chief Financial Officer for AHIMA, and brings a wealth of expertise, combining decades of leadership in audit, compliance, and financial operations. With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mesa State College and certifications as a CPA, CMA, and CPIM, Thomas has consistently demonstrated his ability to implement effective strategies, drive operational improvements, and foster accountability within organizations of all sizes.
Throughout his career, Thomas has held prominent roles, including Corporate Controller and Director of Internal Audit for multinational corporations, where he managed complex audits, compliance programs, and financial operations across global markets. Known for his collaborative leadership and ability to align operations with organizational goals, Thomas has also excelled in guiding teams, developing talent, and delivering actionable solutions.
