About the Symposium

Incoming Component State Associations (CSA) leaders, expand your leadership abilities and explore best practices to strengthen the future of health information management.

The annual CSA Leadership Symposium brings together CSA Presidents, Presidents-elect, Treasurers, Delegates, and elected CSA Board Officers; along with the AHIMA Board of Directors, AHIMA executive leadership; and leaders from the AHIMA Foundation; the Certification Commission for Health Informatics and Information Management (CCHIIM); and the Council for Excellence in Education (CEE). 

Topics Will Include:

  • The role of culture in the greater initiative of growth and how AHIMA is creating an irresistible culture within health information and at AHIMA.
  • Lessons learned on leading in a time of growth and how to prepare to be the association and the profession of the future.
  • CSAs role in advancing AHIMA’s advocacy agenda and realizing our vision of transforming health and healthcare by connecting people, systems, and ideas.
