With the advancement of technology, new doors are opening with new and exciting career pathways available to both the HIM student and professional alike. New pathways need a solid educational foundation to forge ahead in this rapidly changing profession. In this time of academic growth, the need for dynamic faculty recruitment efforts to ensure a strong future for our profession has never been greater.

HIM Educator Survey Results

In support of Vision 2016, the HIM Higher Education and Workforce House Team is working on an awareness plan in hopes to recruit faculty to HIM education. In this time of academic growth, the need for recruitment efforts to ensure a strong future for our profession has never been greater. The House Team is requesting that volunteers contact their CSA to obtain a slot in their annual state/local meeting(s) to speak about the need for educators along with the benefits, qualifications, and various options for teaching.
