Attendance Prerequisites:

  • AHIMA membership.
  • One of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CDIP. We require the CDIP credential for participation in CDI Trainer.
  • 5+ years’ experience, including patient intake, clinical services, case management/utilization review, charge capture, billing, and collections.
  • Writing/Speaking experience (one of the following): 1) Published an article in a public venue, such as the Journal of AHIMA, blog, or newsletter, or other reputable publication. 2) Presented at a local, state, or national level. 3) Trained a team/group of individuals as part of employment.
