Volunteer Program at Conference

The Student Volunteer Program is intended to give current students an opportunity to attend the AHIMA20 Conference in Atlanta, GA, October 14-17. This is a great opportunity for future HIM professionals to become more engaged in their prospective profession and AHIMA! All expenses within the AHIMA travel policy guidelines including airfare, hotel, ground transportation, and meals will be covered by AHIMA. There are a limited number of students chosen for this highly coveted program. 

Volunteer activities may include:

  • Registration
  • Information booth
  • Door monitor
  • Stuff bags
  • Bag and badge pickup
  • Pre-meeting support
  • Introducing speakers
  • Serve as volunteers for Student Academy
  • Foundation Booth/Silent Auction
  • AHIMA Booth
  • Additional tasks as they arise

Applications for the Student Volunteer Program will be accepted April 1st through April 30th.
